Purpose
Programme Manager: Quality Assurance coordinates and implements university-wide quality assurance projects and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Master’s Degree.
- A relevant PhD or PhD in progress will be an added advantage.
- 5 years of relevant experience in higher education on teaching and learning.
- Knowledge of quality enhancement.
- Understanding students and staff development.
- Knowledge of programme development.
- Computer literacy, report writing, research skills.
- Assurance and Enhancement in the formulation and monitoring of the CTLPD strategy on quality enhancement.
- Make inputs in policy development concerning Quality Assurance portfolio.
- Provide a detailed operational plan of the quality assurance portfolio in alignment with Quality Assurance and Enhancement portfolio and CTLPD strategic goals.
- Provide a professional service to university-wide Quality Assurance.
- Act as a point of coordination for the Schools/Faculties regarding all aspects of accreditations.
- Ensure programmes are funded at the correct HIMS code level.
- Coordinate the preparation for a new programme to serve at academic planning committee for recommendation to senate.
- Provide training to department personnel on the accreditation process.
- Maintain accreditation compliance documentation to include collecting and uploading proofs of compliance.
- Provide support to schools/faculties on feedback received from statutory bodies.
- Assume accountability for the operational management of the portfolio.
- Make inputs in costing the portfolio implementation plans.
- Provide regular management reports on operational and strategic matters to the Senior Manager: quality assurance and enhancement.
- Identify and report possible risks that can hamper the achievement of key performance indicators.
- Implement the information management system for accreditation processes.
- Provide website content for keeping the development programmes website up to date.
- Provide management relief support as provided by the senior manager.
- Implement and manage operational activities.
- Participate in reviewing current quality assurance policies and procedures
